Gear and Tips
Keeping the love alive is difficult when you're traveling all the time, living out of tiny Airbnbs (or your car! ugh!), especially when you have kids with you. Here's what we do to make sure our relationship is heathy and... ahem... fun.
Big agnes chair
It is gear. It is a chair. Kind of annoying to set up, but it easily fits in a backpack. Sinks into mud. But it's comfy. Expensive for it's cons, but overall don't regret.
Jetboil
It is gear. It is a thing to heat up water. Kind of annoying to set up, but it easily fits in a backpack. Has it's own special fuel, which is kind of annoying because you can't take fuel on a plane and it's hard to find or really expensive in some destinations. Works quickly, but not great for families because it doesn't boil a ton of water and it's difficult to use with a regular pan (though we have). We bought a big stove, but still use it for tea and coffee. Expensive for it's cons, but overall don't regret.
